On the home front it was a good weekend for Liam O' Meara who partnered Hadley Sport Horse' Realt na Carraig into second place in the HSI, Connolly’s RED MILLS Spring Tour at Cavan last Sunday 22nd February. Liam set the target time of clear and 37.10, but he was demoted by Catherine Thornton and Derryinver Luxury Cruise by a mere fraction of second (36.79). Only 9 of the 60 proceeded to the jump-off and only three delivered double clears.

Groom wanted to work at Hadley Sport Horse home based in Galway. The ideal candidate will have experience for caring for competition horses, ability to work with a team and must be a competent rider with show experience. Hadley Sport Horses remain in the ribbons at Mijas. It was another good week for the team with Castlefield Capri wining the 6 year old class and Castlefield Cassie finishing fourth. Carla had one time fault and finished 10th place in the world ranking class, while Cassana was second in the Premuim big tour and Sovet Louvo was fourth in the Premuim medium tour.

 

The good results continued for Hadley Sport Horses in Spain. Sven finished second on Castlefield Cassie yesterday (1st February) and second on Castlefield Capri. He was sixth on Castlefield Cassie today. Laura Rennick won both days
